Magor Miss B Havin

“Becky”  is directly behind our current line of bitches. When bred to Lucky Break she produced Magor Firebird who was never shown due to a mouth fault.  Credit to Jon Kimes for recognizing Bird’s qualities in spite of her mouth fault as she proved an extraordinary producer giving us Fire ‘n Ice, Lady in Red (dam of our current show girls), as well as the white boys, Microchip and Merry Lord.  Firebird is pictured on our Additional photos page.

Becky was a Colored Bitch finalist at the 1991 Silverwood and swept the field the next day to take Best of Variety at the BTCA National Specialty. She too performed well in the all breed ring with several group placements to her credit.

Becky lived to be 15 years old.

“Brit” was bred in collaboration with our dear friend, the late Percy Hailstone and she was the “apple of his eye”.  And no wonder, she was a truly beautiful bitch. Her son, Magor White Fox of Wyke sired the well known Ch Sinabar Montrachet ROM and his sister, Ch Sinabar Chaka Khan ROM.

Brit was Reserve White Bitch at the 1993 Silverwood.

“Maxine” came out as an unknown to claim Best White Bitch and Best White at the 1999 Silverwood Trophy Competition.  Just one month prior she competed at an all breed show “for ring practice” and walked away with a Best In Show!

Maxine was co-owned with our close friend Marianne Arvelin who passed away of lung cancer in October 2004. Marianne also co-owned, Magor Lady in Red (seen below), dam of our 2005 Silverwood winner, Can/ Ch Magor Margo of Misk ROM.

Magor Fire 'n Ice

“Posh” resides at Magor.  She was a wonderful bitch to show as she always gave 100% and then some!  Today she reigns as “princess supreme” at our house.

Posh won the Lovell Trophy for Runner up to the Silverwood Winner in 2000.

Her son, Magor Master Blaster, by the 2003 Silverwood winner, Can/Am Ch Lonestar Whole Lota Hoopla ROM made his first appearance at the 2005 Silverwood weekend and won the largest ever Puppy Sweepstakes from the 9-12 mos puppy class; went on to capture Winners Dog at the National Specialty the same weekend; then came out in March 2006 to finish his title and ROM with a “bang”.  Click here to visit Master Blaster (Wally) and read about his exciting wins.

Magor Lady in Red

“Sporty” was never shown as we were busy with her sister Fire ‘n Ice.  A situation we often find ourselves in.  There is only so much time, energy, and dollars to go around. A pity as she would have made an easy champion. She’s still a champion in our eyes. Sporty was the much loved companion of our friend, the late Marianne Arvelin.

This is one of only a few photos we have of Sporty. She is now lives with her brother Chip (Magor Microchip of Misk) in Arizona being thoroughly spoiled and loved by Reed and Barbara Holaday.

Click here to visit her daughter Margo’s page. Scroll down to see Margo’s litter sister, Tula.   Another litter sister, Ali is featured on the Magor Family page.

“Murphy” is another one of our girls who never entered the ring. She too stepped aside to let Fire ‘n Ice have the spotlight. Murphy, in our opinion, would have finished her title easily. She, however, doesn’t seem to mind at all as she much prefers hanging out at home with us, half sister Posh and Tula.

See two of her daughters by Action Cool Cat; Matchless Matrix and Midnight Angel, as well as her grandaughters, Magor Macy Gray  and Magor Million Dollar Baby by clicking on their names.

Maggie” was a Specialty Winner and won the Lovell Trophy for Runner Up to the Silverwood winner in 1992 (her brother, Matinee Idol). She won the 1992 Bronze Trophy as well as several group wins in the all breed ring.  Sadly she only had one litter (as her co-owners were not keen on breeding her).  However, in that one litter, when bred to Am Ch Mere Matador ROM, she produced the 1996 Silverwood winner, Ch Magor Moonshine ROM.
