By the end of the 80’s we began an earnest search for an injection of new blood and found it in the outstanding import, Can/Am Ch Emred Top Gun of Brobar ROM.  He proved to have just what was needed at the time.  In order to make the most of him we bred 5 different bitches to him, all tightly linebred bitches out of our earlier stock.  The results were, in our opinion, quite remarkable.  The stud dogs featured below are a direct or second generation result of that injection.

Lucky Break

“Stitch” was a product of an Augustus daughter bred to Top Gun. He is directly behind our current girls as when bred to Can/Am Ch Magor Miss Behavin ROM (a Caesar granddaughter) he produced Magor Firebird, dam of Fire ‘n Ice, Lady in Red (dam of the 2005 Silverwood winner), Microchip and Merry Lord.

He also sired the beautiful Can/Am Ch Wyke’s Kingston Upon Hull ROM, Reserve White Bitch at the 1993 Silverwood and Ch Magor Turning Point, MVP’s sire.

Stitch was a White Dog Finalist at the 1991 Silverwood and Runner up and Best of Opposite Sex to the Bronze Trophy winner in 1992.

Matinee Idol

“Rudy’s” dam was a Caesar daughter and this litter proved a significant one for us as it also produced Can/Am Ch Magor Maggie Mae ROM, dam of the 1996 Silverwood winner as well as Am Ch Magor Must be Magic, foundation bitch for Linda Woodruff’s Edelwin line.

Rudy won the Silverwood in 1992 and sired Am/Mex Ch Hubert’s Desert Star Attila ROM and Am Ch Action Eureka ROM, Lovell Trophy winner at the 1993 Silverwood. He is also behind our current girls and boys.

Like Marquis and Caesar, Rudy was a very special dog for us.  We feel truly blessed to have shared our lives with three such animals in this lifetime.

“Turner” was line bred to Jocko’s Caesar of Magor and when bred to a an Augustus granddaughter he produced another significant stud dog for us in Can/Am Ch Magor’s MVP ROM (pictured below).

Turner sired only four litters before leaving the country.  We regret not having his semen collected and frozen. Not a technique that was particularly popular at that time.

There have been NUMEROUS times we’ve said “I wish we had” with a number of the dogs.

Magor's MVP

“Chuck”, a Turning Point son, is behind all of our recent winners. When bred to his auntie, a Lucky Break daughter, he gave us; Fire ‘n Ice, Lady in Red, Microchip and Merry Lord all in one litter. He is also the sire of Magor Murphy Brown (out of a Matinee Idol daughter), dam of Magor Midnight Angel and Can/Am Ch Magor Matchless Matrix.

Chuck was Reserve White Dog at the 1997 Silverwood as well as a White Dog Finalist at the 1999 Silverwood and gained both his titles easily.

With limited stud work he also sired several champions for Sandee Frascone’s Sinabar line as well as Mex/Am Ch Hubert’s Beautiful Boy, 1999 Silverwood Reserve White Dog and of course our own Can/Am Magor Fire ‘n Ice of Misk ROM, Lovell Trophy Winner for the 2000 Silverwood.

Chuck possessed the same sweetness of his grandfather Caesar. He exemplified power, bone and type. We lost him far too soon at 8 1/2 yrs. to pancreatic cancer.

His daughters and granddaughters are undeniable evidence that he will always be with us. His grandaughter Can/Am Ch Margo of Misk ROM just won the 2005 Silverwood.

“Wendell” won the 1996 Silverwood at 14 mos of age after a brief appearance at his first specialty show in Detroit just two weeks prior to Silverwood where he was Best of Variety from the classes.

Wendell’s sire is a littermate of MVP’s dam. With very limited stud duties he produced Can Ch Magor Maxine, Best White Bitch and Best White at the 1999 Silverwood; Can/Am Ch Sinabar Moonrush at Magor ROM — Silverwood White Dog finalist in 2003 and 2006; Can Ch Bullyrook Lexion of Love; Am Ch Action Moonbeam ROM, Reserve Colored Bitch—2004 Silverwood and Ch Skyline’s Singapore Sling ROM.

We still have a limited amount of frozen semen stored for future use of this guy.
