“Isabel” was a White Bitch finalist at the 1999 Silverwood. She was a wonderful show girl and garnered 13 group first wins in the all breed ring in less than a year with very limited showing for her co-owner, Lorraine Fulton. She finished her American championship at Specialty and Supported shows demonstrating her appeal to both breed specialists and breeder-judges. She’s happily retired now but show her a lead and a bait bag and she’d gleefully do it all over again!

“Betsy” was a full sister (repeat breeding) to Matinee Idol and Maggie Mae).  Sadly, our beautiful Betsy only produced a litter of one the first time round which contained Can/Am Ch Magor Mystery Dancer (pictured at the top of this page) and a second litter with only three puppies.

 

She was only shown one day and garnered a major. Just another one  that fell through the cracks, staying at home with us while others were shown. Secretly she told us she never cared for showing anyway.

Am Ch Magor Madam Butterfly ROM (Miranda)

(Can/Am Ch Wyke’s George of Cleethorpes ex Magor Mahogany Miss)

“Miranda” was a Colored Bitch finalist at the 1993 Silverwood. When bred to Am Ch Windfall’s Starman of Bedrock ROM (an Auggie son) she produced a very good dog in Am Ch Mere Matador ROM (pictured below) who in turn sired our 1996 Silverwood winner, Am Ch Magor Moonshine ROM.

 

Miranda was the much loved pet of John and Louisa Fletcher.

“Jacko” was a Colored Dog Finalist at the1995 Silverwood and quickly gained his championship and ROM.

 

Jacko only sired a couple of litters and when bred to Can/Am Ch Magor Maggie Mae ROM he produced the 1996 Silverwood winner, Am Ch Magor Moonshine ROM.

 

He was a dog of great type and possessed many of the same virtues as his grandsire. Can/Am Ch Juells Augustus of Magor ROM. He was co-bred by us and John and Louise Fletcher.

“Rosie”, in limited showing, finished her championship and was Runner-Up at the Bronze Trophy Competition in 1991.

 

Rosie shared her space with her dad, Topper and human family, Dale and Chris Schuur (Old Forge).

‘Major” lives in Minnesota with his family and other four legged friends. He got off his couch long enough to finish his title in short order on one weekend at the Dallas Bull Terrier Club supported shows. This photo was taken when he just turned a year old and hadn’t finished bodying up. When I get finished digging through boxes for a more recent photo of him I’ll update the page. He is a litter brother to Fire ‘n Ice, Lady in Red and Microchip and co-bred by Jon Kimes.

In very limited showing, “Chip” finished his title at Specialty and supported shows. He is a full brother to Fire ‘n Ice, Lady in Red, and Merry Lord.

 

Retired now and living the good life with sister Sporty (Lady in Red) and Reed and Barbara Holaday.

 

Chip was co-bred with Jon Kimes.

Can/Am Ch Wyke’s George of Cleethorpes (Luther)

“Luther”, a son of Caesar, is pictured here winning Best of Breed at the Bull Terrier Fanciers Association Specialty.

 

He sired Can/Am Ch Magor Madam Butterfly ROM (pictured above).  Luther is a litter brother to Am Ch Wyke’s Magor Miss Marple ROM (dam of Matinee Idol & Maggie Mae). 

 

Luther was a White Dog Finalist at Silverwood 1989,  won several Terrier Groups and a Best in Show All Breeds handled by Gordon for owners Percy Hailstone, Irene and Norm Bullen.

Magor Firebird (Bird)

(Can/Am Ch Magor Lucky Break ex Can/Am Ch Magor Miss B Havin ROM)

“Bird” was destined for a pet home due to her undershot bite when Jon Kimes inquired if he could have her. He indicated he would not be bothered if she were never shown as he felt her qualitiy far outweighed her mouth fault. So, being a firm believer in the old adage “don’t throw the baby out with the bath water” we agreed to Jon’s request and off she went to live with him where in due course she was mated to Can/Am Ch Magor’s MVP ROM producing, Fire ’n Ice, Lady in Red, Microchip and Merry Lord.  The rest is history as Lady in Red produced our recent Silverwood winner, Can/Am Ch Magor Margo of Misk ROM.  Fire ’n Ice produced Am Ch Magor Master Blaster ROM.   Bird eventually retired in the loving care of Reed and Barbara Holaday.  When Bird crossed the Rainbow Bridge, the Holadays adopted her son Chip (Magor Microchip) and later, his sister Sporty (Magor Lady in Red) when owner Marianne lost her battle to lung cancer.
